Development of design mockups for the Bureau of Architecture to showcase its services.
Client
EZdesign is an architectural bureau based in Tallinn that designs buildings for both private and legal entities. The company’s mission is to improve clients’ quality of life by creating convenient and comfortable spaces for work, living, and relaxation.
Task
Develop turnkey website design mockups, presenting the company’s services effectively. Create a job vacancies page to speed up the recruitment process. Consider the inclusion of three languages on the website. Monitor the layout design and CMS integration performed by the client’s developers.
Work Process
In-depth Market Analysis and Target Audience Research
We analyzed 10 competitors from Google search and found that almost all have portfolios with case studies, and many describe their advantages and services. However, many of the websites have outdated designs, while those with modern designs use similar lines and architectural styles. We decided to stand out with bold typography and a fresh color scheme, predominantly featuring the brand’s blue shade, a light background, and gradients.
Market Analysis
Target Audience Research
To study the target audience, we reviewed available marketing research related to the project and analyzed potential customers’ behavior in Facebook communities on various related topics. After preparing target audience profiles and analyzing market results, we compiled a list of objections and concerns that customers might have, which we would address on the website.
Preparation of References and Design Concept
We received 15 links from the client featuring various stylistic examples of websites, after which we prepared our options considering the client’s wishes. Additional online meetings were required to reach a consensus and approve the references. After a successful presentation, we prepared and defended a mood board. Once the design concept was developed, the client accepted it with minor adjustments.

Complex Specifics
One of the most important tasks of the website is to communicate complex, cumbersome services in simple terms to potential customers. At the start of the project, we received a text document containing a large amount of information about the services, which included a lot of unnecessary details and was written in a complicated and confusing manner. We processed this text, extracted the most important points, requested missing information, and ultimately created a clear and structured description of all the company’s services.
Creative Design Solutions
To evoke associations with construction, we broke the section headings into several lines and arranged them so that parts of the title stacked on top of each other like a small house. Between the lines, we added small photographs in some places that symbolize windows.

Advantages Description
Since specialists have to draw a lot when developing architectural projects, we included hand-drawn underlining and outlines where emphasis was needed.
Due to the large number of different types of projects, we categorized them and added filters for easy searching.

We structured the information about each service to clarify: which problems the company will solve for the client, what the service includes, and what stages it involves.
We also added a conceptual “window” with a photo to the 404 page.

The company offers a 10% discount to all new clients. For user convenience, we placed a QR code and a button for adding the card to Apple Pay / WalletPasses. For quick access to the discount, the user scans the code with their phone camera if they opened the site on a computer; if on a phone, they simply press the button.
